As you grow whether as a content creator or a solopreneur or an artist your range of reaching people increases. What that means is that now you just dont have those cheerleaders you are used to but also the critiques and haters as well. And even thought you have 100’s of praises and positive comments coming your way, those 2 negative comments will keep you up all night.

This is recently happening to me a lot and while talking to people who are legends in this space they say “𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩”. Infact that is why this is not for everyone because you got to have the valor to deal with this. Most people give up in this phase.

These are my notes to keep your head above the water and still keep going!

⭐ 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: When faced with negative comments or criticism, try to remain calm and avoid reacting impulsively. Take a step back to assess the situation objectively. Consider the source of the criticism and the validity of the feedback. Separate your emotions from the feedback to gain a clearer perspective on what’s being said.

⭐ 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸: Not all criticism is harmful; some of it can be constructive and provide valuable insights for improvement. Look for any constructive elements in the feedback that you can use to grow and develop. Use this opportunity to learn from your mistakes or shortcomings and use it as a stepping stone for personal or professional development.

⭐ 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗺: While constructive criticism is valuable, not all negative comments are helpful or relevant. Some may be fueled by envy, resentment, or a lack of understanding. Learn to filter out unconstructive criticism that doesn’t contribute to your growth. Don’t take it personally and remember that you can’t please everyone.
